I think my biggest challenge has been thinking that I don’t have time, between working, three children and wanting a social life I always made the excuse that I could not get fit as well. I haven’t always eaten properly in terms of that I find it very easy to skip meals and then just pick up at food and nibble all day and probably eat more than I would have if I had sat down and had a proper meal. I always used to judge myself quite harshly if I could commit following restricted diet or exercise plan, but now I am just happy that I am getting fitter and healthier and it’s at my pace. I have always been really bad that if I didn’t exercise on Monday then the whole week would be a right off, but now I just know that I want to get my three workouts and a run in by the end of the week. And I know that the workouts and and eating healthily are working because I can see results and they may not be as quick in the past when I have dieted but I know these results will be lasting they aren’t a quick hit or a fad diet.
